Welcome to the second course in our Interactive Series for Youth!
As the challenges in society that distort the identity and pure natural disposition of young Muslims continue to grow, the time to teach our children their correct faith and creed is now. This course is designed to nurture young hearts and minds, instilling in them a firm understanding of tawḥīd (belief in the oneness of Allah) and the foundations of the Islamic creed.
Through engaging lessons, discussions, and interactive exercises, students will learn:
The essentials of Islamic belief and what distinguishes it from other ideologies
How to protect their faith in the face of modern challenges and doubts
The importance of purifying one’s heart and building reliance upon Allah
Lessons from Qur’an and Sunnah that strengthen certainty (yaqīn) and trust in their religion
This course aims not only to provide knowledge, but to internally develop young learners, shaping their worldview through an Islamic lens and ultimately helping them build an unbreakable connection with their Lord.
We will place strong emphasis on delivering high-quality material and regularly assessing students’ understanding through assignments, projects, in-class activities, discussions, and more.
By the end of the course, students will gain a firm grounding in their faith, clarity on what strengthens it, and awareness of what nullifies it, helping them remain steadfast in their identity as Muslims.
The main focus of this course will be on the Six Pillars of Īmān (Faith). Each pillar will be explored in detail, with important principles explained, along with the benefits a Muslim gains from believing in each pillar with full conviction. In addition, students will also study the nullifiers of each pillar, learning what contradicts or invalidates correct belief.
