The foundations of the religion are never going to alter. From era to era, from place to place, we rely on the same principles and contextualize them to solve the problems of our time that impact us all at a personal and collective level.
TheShafiiPen Institute was founded by Amar Abdifatah in the year 2021. Amar is a current student in the Faculty of Hadith at the Islamic University of Madinah and a MA candidate in Global History at Arizona State University.
By means of educational courses, creative writing, video excerpts, collections of historical artifacts, a focus on biographies and other future editions to the website, this platform will aim to serve as a gateway for you to the pious predecessors, scholars, noble companions and most importantly our beloved Prophet Muhammed ﷺ.
We recommend you subscribe to our email list so you can stay up to date with the latest works we publish and view upcoming courses/events.
The Shafii_Pen exists to inspire you to seek sacred and beneficial knowledge, the most noble of journeys every Muslim can take. By following our work, we hope to support you in your journey of connecting with your creator, finding comfort in worship, and most importantly deriving benefit from the lessons of the past to do good in the present.
The main goal of TheShafiiPen project is to build a worldwide research institute that will tackle pressing issues, build conviction and disseminate sound authentic knowledge. Through the help of studious students of knowledge, professionals and scholars based in different parts of the world, we hope to actualize this goal in the near future inshaa Allah.
